PRINT IT

Need one special item or a few particular things? Not ready to make the commitment of purchasing the printer? Not a problem, let us do the work for you!

It's easy to request a print time, just give us a call and tell us what your project is all about. We will assess your project then send you a quote. Your quote will include a set up fee, actual print time as well as material cost. Material costs vary so you should take that into account when planning your project.

What files do you need to print? At GorillaMaker we require your files to be in a CAD format. This means your file needs an extension that reads .dxf, .dwg, .svg or .stl. If you are unsure about your file format, give us a call (859) 918-9900 and we will be happy to assist you. There are a ton of resources for print files. Here are just a few:

A couple things to consider before you send your request:

  • 3D prints range in scale and can be printed as large as 355mm x 254mm x 406mm. Remember, the bigger the print, the longer the print time.
  • Current available print materials include PLA, ABS, T-Glase, Laywood, Hips, Nylon, PETG, Bronzefill PLA and LayBrick. Please see our FAQ for more information. If your not sure what your project should be printed with, we are happy to discuss your options to help you find a solution that works best for you.
  • GorillaMaker offers printing services on a first-come, first-serve basis. While we strive to get your print project completed as fast as possible, please keep in mind that all print projects vary in length and duration. If you absolutely must have your job completed by a specific date, let us know so that we can factor that into your project quote.
